        The Center for Education & Advance Care Planning invites you to join us for an exclusive Fat Tuesday "Death by Chocolate" event on February 25, 2020. The event includes a delicious Mardi Gras buffet and some decadent desserts provided by Chicory Cafe. That's the chocolate part… there will also be some lively conversations about advance care planning and other end-of-life issues as well as trivia with prizes. Registration Information: Individual: $15 Couple: $25 Table of 8: $75

    • Okuyamba Fest April 2, 2020
      Center for Hospice Care (CHC) and the Hospice Foundation (HF) have had a partnership with PCAU through Global Partners in Care. From the beginning, the union among the organizations has been beneficial, allowing everyone involved to share best practices on improving access to hospice and palliative care in low-resource countries. This event is also a fundraiser for PCAU and specifically for the Road to Hope Program that provides support to orphaned Ugandan child caregivers who were the primary caregivers for their dying parents or guardians.

      Since 1985, the Helping Hands Award has honored individuals, couples and families who demonstrate civic and charitable stewardship to improve the quality of living in the communities served by Center for Hospice Care. The award recognizes the recipients for exhibiting exceptional generosity, outstanding community achievements, direct financial support, or by motivating others to give. There is no requirement that the honoree(s) possess a close relationship – professional, voluntary, or philanthropic – with Center for Hospice Care.
