Center for Hospice Care (CHC) is proud to announce that it has earned an overall 5-star rating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospice Caregiver Experience survey, placing CHC among the nation’s highest-rated hospice providers based on feedback from families and caregivers.
The CMS Hospice Caregiver Experience survey measures the experiences of family members and caregivers of loved ones who received hospice care. Ratings are based on caregiver feedback on communication, emotional and spiritual support, symptom management, care coordination and overall satisfaction with the hospice experience.
“A 5-star rating is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices of the families we serve,” said John Mastrojohn III, president and CEO of Center for Hospice Care. “Their trust inspires us every day, and we remain committed to delivering compassionate, person-centered care that exceeds expectations and honors each individual’s journey.”
The CMS 5-star rating helps patients and families compare hospice providers and make informed end-of-life care decisions. The rating is based on standardized surveys completed by family caregivers after a patient’s death. Their responses reflect the quality of care and support provided throughout the hospice journey.
For more than four decades, Center for Hospice Care has served patients and families across northern Indiana, providing expert hospice and palliative care focused on comfort and dignity.
